Three equilateral triangles are placed such that two triangles having one common vertex with the third triangle. And both triangles having the base on a line passing through the vertex of the third triangle. Find the length of the common line.
Solution 1:
By using Ptolemy Theorem:
\[(a)(c)+(b)(c)=(x)(c)\]
\[\Rightarrow x = a+b\]
Solution 2:
Triangle having two blue lines and one line is orange and green line is an equilateral triangle:
Blue line = a + b
