Dare2solve | Line joining vertex and a point inside equilateral triangle - Angle finding puzzle

This question was uploaded on 11/10/21 on social media accounts.

Three lines are drawn from the vertices of an equilateral triangle to a point inside the triangle such that the square of the length of one side equals the sum of squares of the remaining two sides. Find the angle between those two sides.

Solution:

Here two triangles are similar (having a, c, triangle's side as sides lengths)
The orange triangle is an equilateral triangle.
Triangle with sides a, b, c is a right-angled triangle due to the given condition.
\[\Rightarrow\alpha = 90°+60° = 150°\]
